Qualifications
You just might be the right person for the job if…
- You have a strong background and experience in direct response marketing.
- You have a thorough understanding of internet marketing and are familiar with most tactics like SEO, social networking, ppc, etc.
- You either have 1) direct personal experience in network marketing, or 2) you have worked with network marketers extensively (you need to be able to speak the lingo!)
- You have strong copywriting and persuasion skills… and… you can also put together quality content (the two go hand in hand).
- You have a solid understanding of building a marketing pipeline for continuing sales (also, experience with direct mail not required but a definite plus).
- You’re able to prioritize and manage a demanding and diverse work load.
- You’re willing to work your butt off. Let me warn you… during our most intense launches, our entire team has been known to put in consecutive 18 hour days. Don’t worry, it’s not always like this :-) But when it’s crunch time and there’s a big deadline to meet, we know how to perform.
- You’re comfortable with taking the initiative and have a strong sense of ownership to drive results. If you need to be micromanaged, we won’t be a good fit for each other.
- You thrive on challenges, are optimistic and see “problems” as opportunities to grow.
- You’re able to turn around projects quickly. This means quality work but also knowing when speed is important.
- You’re flexible and able to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- You work well with people, are comfortable with making connections, and are a team player.
- You’re looking for a home. We approach our relationships with our team members as a partnership and we’re looking for someone who’s in it for the long run.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Optimize marketing funnels for existing products
- Create marketing funnels for new/future products. This may include ad campaigns, free content, lead capture pages, email sequences, sales letters, upsell sequences, etc.
- Use market research, customer surveys, etc to determine what our audience’s needs are
- Generate excerpts from products, coaching calls, videos, newsletters, etc and post them in bite-sized, digestible pieces
- Create promotion tools for our affiliates/JV partners
- Incorporate as many different mediums into our marketing pieces as possible (audio, video, text, graphics, diagrams, charts, etc)
- Create and improve “stick” strategies or follow up sequences for existing customers in order to improve retention, product consumption and overall customer loyalty
- Create marketing campaigns that use as many different communication channels as possible (direct mail, cell phone marketing, email, social media, online sales pages, etc)
- Scour our company archives and do extensive market research to incorporate quality content, facts, statistics, examples, proof elements and case studies into our marketing pieces.
